At NEW DELHI : Social networking king  Facebook has get collaborate with leading Indian Telcom company Bharti Airtel to start  20,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across the country to offer low cost internet services through the  high Wi-FI service . Munish Seth, regional head APAC, Facebook Connectivity Solutions, said ET that  partnership is atrapidly expanding Wi-Fi areas in India. "Airtel is already in the planning stage for this deployment on higher scale."

Partnership between them Express Wi-Fi to reach millions of more Indians who need super-fast and low cost connectivity. These hotspots will begin to real positioning in upcoming few months . 
Express Wi-Fi is part of Facebook's global initiative for spreading  internet connectivity to all over india. The service is currently working  in five countries contains  India, Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria and Indonesia on test basis.
Facebook has begun testing faster Wi-Fi in India in 2015 onwards . It is currently working with internet services providers (ISPs) and over 500 local entrepreneur retailers in four Indian states containing Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Meghalaya to commercially offer high speed  wifi service through 700 wifi hotspots. Express Wi-Fi has been process to setup in partnership with ISPs AirJaldi in Uttarakhand, LMES in Rajasthan, Tikona in Gujarat, and soon with Shaildhar in Meghalaya. " as We are delighted to be a part of this initiative to provide affordable access to high speed data to users across India, particularly in the underserved segment.

Express Wi-Fi are  designed to full fill mobile data offerings by providing a low-cost at basic level high bandwidth alternatives for getting online and access apps which are bring India online , download and stream content. Seth said that" the Express Wi-Fi partnerships empower,  local Indian entrepreneurs to start businesses to offer, internet access to their town or region. They also help, Indians connect to the internet easily,  and for an affordable rate. India has a population of about, 1.3 billion people, but according to the Telecom Regulatory,  Authority of India (TRAI's) Performance Indicator Report, only 390 million, people are connected to the internet. Customers can access,  the Express Wi-Fi network by signing up with an,  Express Wi-Fi retailer,  and purchasing a daily, weekly or monthly data pack at a rate set by partners. They will then,  be able to connect to, the Express Wi-Fi hotspot, register/create an account, login and start, browsing or use any app on the entire internet by connecting using express wifi"
